'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming
Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his interest in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the maiden significant achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely think about lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
